Hello there! Today is a very important day for Brok3nsite, a small studio created by two friends Rafael Brotons and Antonio Manuel García with two great programmers Marc Maciá and Alberto Plaza. In this game they have also participated Helios García (Musician), Borja Amadeo Colomer (Character Artist). Today we present and talk about Dawn of Fear that will be released on PS4 on 3rd February 2020.
Dawn of fear is an exploration videogame with riddles and manage inventory. Where you will test your survival in third person with stationary camera.
We have always dreamed how it would be to improve certain mechanics of the games that we love. This is how Dawn of Fear arose, when we began to fantasize about the remake of RE: 2. We wanted to contribute our grain of sand and achieve a balance between playability and graphics without losing the essence of the game. What advantages do new technologies give us and how can we use them without changing the essence? What continues to add value and what can we change to make the game more attractive now? These questions were the origin of this game, which exists to answer them. Nowadays, technology and the way of doings things has changed a lot and we thought it would be easy to adapt a game from 20 years ago, but this premise was a mistake. Our knowledge in the development tools was…. let’s say scarce. We have learned a lot and we have had to hustle so that our dream ceases to be a fantasy and becomes a reality.
We like details and we like to explore and understand the logic of why the elements of a room are distributed a certain way. The beautiful planes that are like canvases contemplated as art. The fact that you have to find the hidden clues to understand why you are in that situation and what is happening. Having to always think when and where to hold out on your next move, knowing they are limited and that you can’t take the decision lightly. Understanding that sometimes you don’t have another choice and you have to improvise, as in life, saving each bullet for moments of trouble and keeping each medicine cabinet until you can’t even walk upright. What are the lessons of this survival game?

Dawn of Fear puts you in the shoes of Alex, a young man who loves to draw and always carries his notebook. He decides to go study fine arts away from home. The family lawyer call Alex. Telling him that his stepmother has taken her own life. As the only living family member, Alex goes to the family home to organize the papers and bury his stepmother. Once at home Alex discovers the necromancy studies that were being done there.
